    A police officer fatally shot a man whom he was trying to arrest on drug charges Monday, the Raleigh police chief said. The officer was chasing the man on foot and shot him at some point during the early-afternoon pursuit, Police Chief Cassandra Deck-Brown told a news conference at City Hall. She said a firearm was found near the man's body, but did not say whether it was his. She said the man was wanted on a felony drug charge.
